Activities with risk of fall from a height like roof works, need a preventive and efficient organization for operation sequences as well as collective and personal protective systems.
In order to reduce such risk, the use of simple and pragmatic tricks suggested by specialists’ experience can make the difference while working at height especially when, due to environmental factors like strong sunlight, is not possible to distinguish laid on materials.
For roofing, in order to highlight walkable and unwalkable surfaces, is useful to stick red or green tape on panels before their installation (RED – UNWALKABLE; GREEN – WALKABLE).
Don’t play “Twister” on the roof: step red and you’re out!
